Message from the Canadian Common CV (CCV) Board of Directors

Dear Drs. Holly Witteman, Patrick Archambault, Kristin Connor, Colleen Derkatch, Michael Hendricks, Michael Hoffman, Timothée Poisot, and Andrew Pruszynski:

Thank you for reaching out to continue this dialogue. Several of your suggestions for partial measures are well aligned with our current thinking for the CCV and the agencies’ plan for a new grants management system. As relevant work develops, we will ensure the research community is kept apprised.

In terms of the tri-agency grants management solution (TGMS), user-centric design is a core principle in our work. We would like to thank those of you who have already volunteered your time to participate in the TGMS consultations to date. Looking ahead, the TGMS team has begun travelling to 15 Canadian institutions to validate the current journey maps and engage users to co-design the future experience. As new information becomes available about the initiative, it will be posted on the TGMS website and interested stakeholders are encouraged to contact the TGMS team to get more information about upcoming events and opportunities to get involved.
