COVID-19 and Mental Health (CMH) Initiative Summer Outlook
Message from the Scientific Director, Dr. Samuel Weiss
As we move into the summer months, the COVID-19 and Mental Health (CMH) Initiative continues to grow and produce knowledge regarding mental health and substance use in the COVID-19 context for practitioners, policy makers, researchers and all Canadians.
This week, initial knowledge syntheses from the Knowledge Synthesis: COVID-19 in Mental Health and Substance Use funding opportunity are being submitted to CIHR for rapid dissemination to support the immediate health services needs for Canadians who need it most. At the end of the month, we will launch a new CMH Initiative website, which will contain a searchable database with access to the knowledge synthesis reports, lay summaries, news, updates and more. Stay tuned for launch details in the coming weeks.
As CIHR-INMHA moves into our summer communications schedule, you may hear from us less frequently. That said, we remain committed to ensuring our community is informed of processes, progress and relevant news related to COVID-19 and mental health and substance use. To stay informed:
