Update – Leadership of the Institute of Indigenous Peoples’ Health

Dear colleagues,

CIHR has decided to end its appointment of the Scientific Director of IIPH and will engage immediately with the Indigenous health research community to establish a process for the appointment of a new Scientific Director of IIPH.

Maintaining an ongoing dialogue with the Indigenous health research community is integral to strengthening our relationship and promoting reconciliation.  CIHR remains committed to listening and learning as we move forward together

The day-to-day operations and activities of IIPH are continuing without interruption, as are CIHR’s commitments related to our Strategic Plan and Indigenous Health Research Action Plan.
