Canadian Mother-Child Collaborative Training Platform (CAMCCO-L)
A Health Research Training Platform to build capacity in drug safety and effectiveness research
The Canadian Mother-Child Collaborative Training Platform (CAMCCO-L) platform aims to provide training in English and French that complements the disciplinary academic training offered in universities by creating a virtual training environment that supports the development of skills essential to translational and transectorial research as well as interdisciplinary collaboration in perinatal research on medications.
The training environment offered on the CAMCCO-L platform consists of:
- Online Course
- Webinars, Journal clubs, Online training workshops
- Summer School
- Internship
- Discussion forums and Chat room
Led by Dr. Anick Bérard (University of Montreal, CHU Ste-Justine), the CAMCCO-L team includes world renowned researchers, knowledge users, and early career researchers in the field of perinatal epidemiology, genetics, basic sciences, and artificial intelligence from 10 Canadian universities and 7 provinces, as well as 2 universities from the United States and France that have a strong track records of curriculum development and mentoring.
