Audit of Cybersecurity

In 2024, the Audit of Cybersecurity was conducted to assess if CIHR had effective internal controls over the management and delivery of its cybersecurity program, including how CIHR ensures cybersecurity for external users, particularly the Institutes. CIHR is addressing the audit recommendations.

Pursuant to Section 16 (2) (c) of the Access to Information Act, the results of the audit will not be published. CIHR has thoroughly weighed the public interest for disclosure against the need to ensure the security of CIHR’s assets and national interests in making its decision.
