Video: Top Ten Don’ts of GBA+

CIHR shares a commitment by the Government of Canada to using Gender-Based Analysis Plus (GBA+) to develop effective policies and programs. GBA+ is an analytical tool used to assess the potential impacts of policies, programs, services, and other initiatives on diverse groups of people, taking into account sex, gender and other intersecting identity factors (such as age, culture, language, education, sexual orientation, ability, faith, etc).

For CIHR, this process includes how GBA+ is considered in the research that we fund,  our funding system, as well as in our workplace.
